People in Switzerland vote about protecting nature. Some people want to spend more money to protect land, water, and animals. They want more space for plants and animals. But most people vote against it. Only 33.4% vote yes.
The government and many people in the countryside say it costs too much money. Switzerland spends about 630 million euros each year on this. People worry that it will hurt jobs. Buildings will be more expensive.
Switzerland has beautiful lakes and mountains. But many animals and plants are in danger. Some people want more protected places. It helps nature, tourism, and clean air and water.
