တခါက ရွာတရွာမှာရှိတဲ့ အိမ်တအိမ်မှာ မွေးထားတဲ့ ကြက်တူရွေးလေး တကောင် ရှိသတဲ့။ စကားလည်း ပြောတတ်တာမို့ လူတိုင်းက ချစ်ကြတာပေါ့။

အဲဒါကို သူက စိတ်ကြီးဝင်နေသတဲ့။ လှောင်ချိုင့်ထဲကနေ တခြားအိမ်မွေး တိရစ္ဆာန်တွေကို ဝေဖန်နေသတဲ့။ “ကိုနွားကြီး ခင်ဗျားဖြင့် တနေ့ တနေ့ စားမြုံ့ ပြန်နေတာပဲ။ ဘာမှာလည်း မလုပ်ဘူး။

ကြက်တူရွေးလည်း အပြင်ထွက်ပြီး ဟိုဟိုဒီဒီ သွားကြည့်တာပေါ့။ ဒါပေမယ့် အတောင်ပံတွေကို ညှပ်ထားတာမို့ ပျံလို့တော့ မရဘူးပေါ့။

လယ်ကွင်းတွေနား ရောက်သွားတော့ ကိုနွားကြီးက လယ်ထွန်တဲ့ဆီမှာ ပင်ပင်ပန်းပန်း လုပ်နေရှာတာ တွေ့သတဲ့။

ကြက်မကြီးနဲ့ ကြက်ကလေးတွေ အစာရှာတဲ့နား ကြည့်နေတုန်း မြွေတကောင်က ကြက်တွေကို လာဆွဲသတဲ့။ ကြက်ဖကြီးက လာပြီး ရဲရဲဝင့်ဝင့် ခွပ်လိုက်တော့ မြွေက ထွက်ပြေးသွား တာပေါ့။
